The Transfer Station is Mr. Rubbishman’s facility that accepts solid waste from commercial & government haulers who have an account with Guam Solid Waste Authority.

Haulers dispose of their solid waste on a cement tipping floor, then it is inspected by Mr. Rubbishman employees to assure that NO BANNED materials are sent to the Layon Landfill. All BANNED materials must be taken by the hauler prior to departing the transfer station. The trash is then pushed by heavy equipment into a transfer trailer and hauled to the Layon Landfill for final disposal.

Effective July 1, 2008 BANNED MATERIALS:

No Cardboard, green waste, wood, concrete or construction debris, car batteries, tires, hazardous waste, flammable or animal carcasses.
